Too bad you missed it. You heard right so I understand how it's a little confusing. The normal people who put that event on were going to take a year off. Then, Gil from Break the Floor Productions stepped in, rebranded it at Dance Teacher Summit, and really gave it wings. It was a super cool event. Look out for it next year.

I heard it was cnaceled - due to not enough teachers - economies and everything. we wnt to mrytle beach instead (lol)! maybe next year - did it go on? i heard a lot of summer events were put on hold - waiting for uncle sam to bail out us dancers!

well - im going to rhee golds event: 1) Florida 2) rhee: Dance God himself 3) NYC - expensive $$ 4) no hotel - g'friends' house on the beach!

Yeah, I have to agree on most of that. I think they knew it wasn't that great so they decided to not do it again and take a year off to re-group. THEN, Gil Stromming stepped in and is taking over. It's a new thing called the 'Dance Teacher Summit' and it's going to blow the old conference away.
